Homes that belong
to their landscape.

Chatwin Homes is a two-generation family builder crafting custom homes across Salt Lake, Wasatch, and Summit Counties since 2009.

Est. 2009 · Midway, Utah

A family name, signed onto every home.

Rick Chatwin builds along the Wasatch Back the way his family has for two generations — one home at a time, most of them within an hour of his own. The work has been recognized at the Utah Valley Parade of Homes year after year, including Best Home, and holds an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

But the measure Chatwin builds to is quieter than a trophy shelf: kitchens that cook, porches that hold an evening, and houses that still feel right decades on.

The Wasatch Back is home — and the mountains set the standard.

The craft

Materials chosen to age, not to date.

White oak and limestone. Honed marble, painted brick, unlacquered brass that will darken with use. Chatwin homes are built from materials that get better with their second decade — and built tight: the firm is known along the Wasatch Front as a leader in energy-efficient construction.

From first sketch to final walkthrough, one builder carries the project — and answers the phone.
